We are glad you’ve found us. You will find our folks informal, warm, and welcoming.
Our building is fully accessible–there are no stairs to enter the exterior doors, and there is an interior residential-style elevator.
Clothing ranges from jeans and T-shirts to sport coats & dresses, with few ties to be seen.
A friendly nursery is available from 9:45 on for pre-schoolers, and primary-age children are excused to attend Sunday School class following the “Young Worshipers’ Time” in worship. All children of any age are WELCOME in our worship service!
We begin with singing at 9:50, usually hymns and/or songs that have been requested by the congregation in previous services. The actual worship service begins at 10:00 AM and generally lasts 60 to 75 minutes. After worship, we share coffee and fellowship in our downstairs fellowship hall.
Our style of worship is fairly traditional, though we love to sing, and we sing music from all centuries, many countries, and a variety of styles. If you are unfamiliar with our Reformed style of worship, a printed program (bulletin) will be your “roadmap” for the journey.
What People are Saying
Listen to what a few church members from our congregation have to say about the experience of First Presbyterian, Bandon:
“I knew after the first visit that this was ‘home.’ This is the friendliest church I’ve ever been part of.”
“With our family so scattered and far away, First Pres has become our ‘in-town’ family. They’ve supported us through ‘thick and thin’.”
“It means so much to be part of a ‘thinking’ church that allows differences and encourages questions.”
